Our security assessments can be done as part of the security management system or as a third-party assessment to ensure all your security risks are identified.
We do the assessments and present a complete security risk profile to you before you accept security service provider quotations.

ARMED AND UNARMED SECURITY PERSONNEL
SHS-CIT, through our partners provides armed and unarmed security personnel to any organisation, irrespective of size or complexity.
Our security personnel are fully trained in accordance with the Private Security Industry Regulating Authority’s minimum standards and then further developed to meet our stringent standards.

Our unarmed guards are sufficiently trained in the early detection of security threats and potential breaches and can defuse most situations without the use of any force. Where the situation requires the use of force, our unarmed guards are trained to use minimal force to subdue the subjects in a calm and diplomatic manner. Our unarmed guards are fully trained in the use of non-fatal equipment such as high voltage Tasers and chemical sprays (Pepper Spray).
Our armed guards are extensively trained on non-violent methods of security enforcement and will only use their firearms as an absolute last measure of defense and protection.
All our armed guards are extensively trained to avoid the use of firearms in public and congested environments and will at all cost avoid public casualties. Their priority is the protection of life.
VIP / CLOSE BODY PROTECTION
Our specialist VIP and Close Body Protection (CBP) personnel are specifically trained in the protection of valuable human assets. They are trained to the highest standards in early risk detection and avoidance ensuring where possible, assets are protected and removed from high risk situations before the situation becomes apparent.
Our VIP and CBP personnel are trained in collision avoidance, anti-high jacking, and high-speed vehicle control and advanced driving ensuring that assets being transported are protected as far as possible.
ARMED ESCORTS
SHS-CIT offers armed escorts to accompany high value loads and protect them from high-jacking and robberies. We provide armed escorts for loads such as bulk electronics, vehicle transporters, medication, sensitive chemicals and environmentally sensitive material.
We also offer pre-trip road assessments and trip planning prior to load departure and advanced travel surveying for the detection and early warning of suspicious activities.
As part of the transportation of valuable goods service we are in constant communication with the local police and traffic departments to ensure they are aware of loads passing through their precincts.
